Slowing down to assess the situation will be human’s competitive advantage over the increasingly rapid pace of technological advancement.
That is according to Carl Honoré, author of the In Praise of Slow, which champions slow thinking and taking a step back to assess circumstance before reacting.
Speaking at Citywire Switzerland 2016, Honoré said taking time to analyse all options can allow investors to avoid simply snatching ‘low hanging fruit’ through quick fixes and achieve greater long-term success.
